IMD I - R U RLA ready!

Goodmorning!

What a crazy week, great job to those who helped with the presentations!

Get your USB and Ethernet sketches ready to turn in first thing! HINT: These are the first two sketches that are going to count towards a Reward Lab Activity aka RLA (think 360s, snacks, and a movie - you have to earn an 80% or higher on all RLA assignments to participate)

I will be checking off web portfolio notebooks on monday (another RLA assignment!)

2-10 IMD I - Ready for the show!

We have a few activities and reminders for lab today, here they are:

1. Bring your interactive portfolio binder to class. You will need to have this daily for the next several weeks.

2. Worksite connection day - get the new paperwork and make sure you have your plans in place. If you're going to stay and help me in lab make sure I have you on my list this morning.

3. We will be prepping lab today for the visits over the next two days. I'll be tasking people to different jobs. If I assign you one, take care of it. Once your finished check with me to make sure it's been done correctly.

4. If your not working on one of the above assignments, work on your sketches that are due FRIDAY (USB and Ethernet) or start production on your portfolio.

Our BPA competitions are almost over, good luck to GDP presenting today!

Overall I was very impressed with the performance of our class yesterday. I cant wait for the awards ceremony on Friday. I see hardware (aka awards) in our future!

For today -

IMD I We'll be starting your portfolio projects next monday. Digg out those planning folders and start thinking about the details of your project. For today you will need to write a one page (250 words) reaction to the work you did for BPA competition. Describe the contest enviornemnt you were in , what questions did the judges ask? What would you do differently next year. Post your reaction to your blog. With the remaining time choose a drawspace.com activity and start drawing. You may use paper from the printer. I will be collecting this work 1st periond tommorow.
