IMD I - A letter from our client.

The conference call went well yesterday! I spoke with Anne later in the day and she said she was surprised and impressed by the professionalism of the class. Good job!

Here is an email she sent for the group:

Hello,

I am happy to be collaborating with your junior class on the development of the ChakraCat website. Now, all I need to do is get ChakraCat & A Basketful of Kittens made! I haven't gotten much further than that photo on the "How" page ;-)

Thank you, Travis, Lizzie, Katlin, Matt, Anthony and Chris, for your questions. I appreciate your inquisitive nature and hope to hear from all of you at some point. Please feel free to email me questions and I will respond as soon as I can. If I don't respond right away, please continue with your own intuition as your guide and continue the process of designing. My desire is also to allow 'your artistic web designer' to show up in the website as well! For you to be able to say, "I thought of that..." when
you show your work to others.

The intention of working with your class is to find one inspired designer with whom I can establish an ongoing 'real world' web designer partnership. For this particular junior class challenge, I will be offering a $50 VISA gift card for the person who represents ChakraCat to her fullest potential. Once this challenge is over, the artist who collaborates best with ChakraCat will then discuss with me their intention and ideas for creating joyful and educational websites.

For Today:

Continue working on formating the pages for web. Here are a couple of reminders:

1. resize the page to 800px wide

2. Use Preferences to setup ruler and grid

3. Create slices - making sure you snap to the grid

4. make sure you organize the content into source and root folders.

Have a great day, I'll see you tomorrow!

- Buy a ticket for the talent show, its going to rock! -
